How To Make Alfredo Sauce
For anyone who has tasted this heavenly treat, it would appear that Alfredo sauce is really made by the hands of some divine genius than a regular old you using a regular old spoon in a regular old sauce pan. But that’s the beauty of Italian food. It’s simplicity made absolutely delicious. We also love it because it makes for tasty, healthy weeknight dinner ideas that can be dressed up or down with the right ingredients. Now we wouldn’t necessarily call this sauce healthy but it makes for one serious treat every now and again. Alfredo is also another one of those great simple yet decadent Italian dishes that can bring some spice into a Wednesday night dinner. And despite the fact it seems like it would be difficult, it’s really quite easy. The traditional recipe uses just a mix of butter and Parmesan, with the butter turning the cheese into a lovely cream sauce. Modern day Alfredo has taken it a step further and adds a bit of heavy cream or milk to create a thicker, saucier result. We’re not complaining either way. Alfredo, whatever you do just keep on doing it.
