Also known as Glogg, mulled wine is a traditional Scandinavian beverage served in winter time. The drink gets its name from the mulling spices used to infuse it with delicious flavor like cinnamon, clove, orange and anise. The perfect holiday mixed drink is then simmered on as low as your stove goes to prevent the loss of alcoholic content but for as long as possible so all the flavors have time to meld together. You can add in brandy or bourbon for additional flavor as well as alcoholic content or just leave as is. This drink is the perfect thing to whip up all winter long for cozy nights indoors, friendly gatherings or a quick warm up after a long day in the snow. Learn how to make it in this online culinary course with our host.
