Next time you serve a sorbet, pair it with a sparkling wine. Sorbet cocktails are ideal for weddings held outside or a late afternoon lunch.
All you have to do is place the martini glasses in the freezer for approximately 30 minutes. Once the glasses have chilled, you can add any sorbet and then pour Champagne over the sugary scoops.
Traditional fondue: You can add some orange liqueur to traditional dark chocolate fondue for an extra kick. The prep time remains the same and you can still enjoy the chocolate with favorites such as Rice Krispie treats, marshmallows, brownies and strawberries.
Vodka gummy bears: You can still enjoy gummy bears even though you are no longer a child. They are popular toppings at ice cream and frozen yogurt parlors and although they are easy to create, they do take some time. All you have to do is put gummy bears in a large cup and then fill it with vodka up to the top. Cover the container with plastic and place in the refrigerator for four or five days. This will allow the gummy bears to soak up all the vodka. You can now use the gummy bears as toppings for pudding, cupcakes or ice cream.
Tequila cupcakes: One of America’s favorite dessert bites, cupcakes can be infused with your favorite alcohol. When you are mixing the cupcake ingredients such as oil and eggs, add some tequila to a the batter. Once the cupcakes have been baked with the alcohol inside, frost as usual.
Alcohol doughnuts: Similar to their cupcake friends, doughnut mix can also call for a smidgen of alcohol. From Kahlua to strawberry daiquiri flavors, there is a lot of room for experimentation with doughnuts and alcohol. Try different liqueurs with regular doughnuts for a perfect combination.
